Racing driver and influencer Archie Hamilton is set for a full-season assault on the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB, a brand-new series for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, with Redline Racing.
29-year old Archie returns to competition after five years away from racing, having built up an impressive audience of almost 300,000 subscribers on YouTube, with individual videos receiving over one million views.
He has previously competed in series as diverse as the FIA World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Series, and is a multiple race-winner in GT Open, as well as having raced in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.
Archie will be working with experienced Porsche racer Dino Zamparelli not only on sponsorship and partnership management, but also as a driver coach. Dino has experience with the 718 Cayman GT4, having competed in the British GT Championship in the car last year.
The updated Porsche Sprint Challenge GB calendar will take in 12 rounds at six events across the United Kingdom, racing alongside the British GT Championship, British Touring Car Championship, and Porsche Club GB, providing competitors with a high level of visibility for their on-track exploits.
Redline Racing, Porsche GB, Dino, and Archie will take extra precautions throughout the year, based on available guidance, to keep clients, staff, and other individuals as safe as possible during the season.
The campaign begins at Snetterton over the weekend of July 11/12, before travelling to Donington Park (twice), Brands Hatch, and Croft, finishing on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit at the start of November.
Further announcements on partners will follow in due course, as well as exciting ways for fans and sponsors to engage with Archie and his racing programme throughout the season.

“I’m so excited to get back into racing after around five years away. I’ve been working on my YouTube channel, but when the opportunity came up to get back in a seat for 2020, I just had to take it.
“I’ve got a great team behind me with Dino and Redline Racing, who are absolute professionals in the game, so this is huge for me. My following has been built on YouTube as a car vlogger but also as a racing driver, so I’m excited to give back to those that have followed me on this journey, hopefully go and win some races, and ultimately challenge for the title.”

“Archie is a hot prospect. The social media following he has built over the last few years makes him so attractive for sponsors and brands and we’ll be announcing some really exciting opportunities. We have some great partners joining us on this journey already and we have things like the Sponsors Club and the Fan Club which are being launched imminently.
“After the pause for COVID-19, we can’t wait to get Archie out there. I know he’ll be fast and competing for wins, and this GT4 series by Porsche will be the perfect platform for us to ease him back into racing as we look forward to a multi-year journey together.”
